I have grown weary of testing Him, but still, He never speaks harshly to me. ਕਉੜਾ ਬੋਲਿ ਨ ਜਾਨੈ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਗਵਾਨੈ ਅਉਗਣੁ ਕੋ ਨ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ ॥ Ka­uṛā bol na jānai pūran bẖagvānai a­ugaṇ ko na cẖiṯārė. He does not know any bitter words; the Perfect Lord God does not even consider my faults and demerits. ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਸਦਾਏ ਇਕੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਨਹੀ ਭੰਨੈ ਘਾਲੇ ॥ Paṯiṯ pāvan har biraḏ saḏā­ė ik ṯil nahī bẖannai gẖālė. It is the Lord's natural way to purify sinners; He does not overlook even an iota of service. ਘਟ ਘਟ ਵਾਸੀ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਨੇਰੈ ਹੀ ਤੇ ਨੇਰਾ ॥ Gẖat gẖat vāsī sarab nivāsī nėrai hī ṯė nėrā. O Dear Lord, You are the honor of the dishonored. ਨਿਚੀਜਿਆ ਚੀਜ ਕਰੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕਉ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੁ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ Nicẖīji­ā cẖīj karė mėrā govinḏ ṯėrī kuḏraṯ ka­o kurbāṇ. Rahā­o. You make the unworthy ones worthy, O my Lord of the Universe; I am a sacrifice to Your almighty creative power. ||Pause|| ਜੈਸਾ ਬਾਲਕੁ ਭਾਇ ਸੁਭਾਈ ਲਖ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥ Jaisā bālak bẖā­ė subẖā­ī lakẖ aprāḏẖ kamāvai. Like the child, innocently making thousands of mistakes - ਕਰਿ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਝਿੜਕੇ ਬਹੁ ਭਾਤੀ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਗਲਿ ਲਾਵੈ ॥ Kar upḏės jẖiṛkė baho bẖāṯī bahuṛ piṯā gal lāvai. his father teaches him, and scolds him so many times, but still, he hugs him close in his embrace. ਪਿਛਲੇ ਅਉਗੁਣ ਬਖਸਿ ਲਏ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਗੈ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੨॥ Picẖẖlė a­oguṇ bakẖas la­ė parabẖ āgai mārag pāvai. ||2|| Please forgive my past actions, God, and place me on Your path for the future. ||2|| ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਸਭ ਬਿਧਿ ਜਾਣੈ ਤਾ ਕਿਸੁ ਪਹਿ ਆਖਿ ਸੁਣਾਈਐ ॥ Har anṯarjāmī sabẖ biḏẖ jāṇai ṯā kis peh ākẖ suṇā­ī­ai. The Lord, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, knows all about my state of mind; so who else should I go to and speak to? ਕਹਣੈ ਕਥਨਿ ਨ ਭੀਜੈ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੁ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਵੈ ਪੈਜ ਰਖਾਈਐ ॥ Kahṇai kathan na bẖījai gobinḏ har bẖāvai paij rakẖā­ī­ai. The Lord, the Lord of the Universe, is not pleased by mere recitation of words; if it is pleasing to His Will, He preserves our honor. ਅਵਰ ਓਟ ਮੈ ਸਗਲੀ ਦੇਖੀ ਇਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਓਟ ਰਹਾਈਐ ॥੩॥ Avar ot mai saglī ḏėkẖī ik ṯėrī ot rahā­ī­ai. ||3|| I have seen all other shelters, but Yours alone remains for me. ||3|| ਹੋਇ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਕਿਰਪਾਲੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਆਪੇ ਸੁਣੈ ਬੇਨੰਤੀ ॥ Ho­ė ḏa­i­āl kirpāl parabẖ ṯẖākur āpė suṇai bėnanṯī. Becoming kind and compassionate, God the Lord and Master Himself listens to my prayer. ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਵੈ ਸਭ ਚੂਕੈ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਚਿੰਤੀ ॥ Pūrā saṯgur mėl milāvai sabẖ cẖūkai man kī cẖinṯī. Tah ham adhik tapassiaa saadhee|| Mahaakaal Kaalikaa araadhee||2|| There I was absorbed in deep meditation on the Primal Power, the Supreme KAL.2. Ih bidh(i) karat tapasiaa bhayo|| Dvai te ek roop hvai gayo|| In this way, my meditation reached its zenith and I became One with the Omnipotent Lord. Taat maat muralakh araadhaa|| Bahu bidh(i) jog saadhnaa saadhaa||3|| My parents also meditated for the union with the Incomprehensible Lord and performed many types of disciplines for union.3. Tin jo karoo alakh kee sevaa|| Taa te bhae prasann Gurdevaa|| The service that they rendered the Incomprehensible Lord, caused the pleasure of the Supreme Guru (i.e. Lord). Tin Prabh jab aais muh(i) deeaa|| Tah ham janam kaloo maih leeaa||4|| When the Lord ordered me, I was born in this Iron age.4. Chit na bhayo hamro aavan kah|| Chubhoo rahoo srut(i) Prabh(u) charnan mah|| I had no desire to come, because I was totally absorbed in devotion for the Holy feet of the Lord.
